Phillip Dande is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in special assets management and collections within the banking and finance sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of the Special Assets Management Unit at Bank Of Africa - Uganda Ltd since April 2013, Phillip has successfully implemented proactive collection systems that have significantly reduced the bank’s non-performing asset (NPA) percentage. Previously, as the Head of Collections and Recovery at Equity Bank Limited, Phillip achieved a 150% increase in profitability for the bank in 2012. At Barclays Africa Group Limited, Phillip established a comprehensive collection and recovery department that supported substantial growth in the Ugandan operations. Early career roles included credit control positions in various organizations, where Phillip developed fundamental skills in accounts receivable management. Phillip holds qualifications from the Kenya School of Monetary Studies and the Kenya College of Banking and Finance.
