Ali Patanwala

Ali Patanwala is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as SVP and Head of Enterprise Cloud Operations & SRE at Bank of America since February 2023. Previously, Patanwala led global SRE and cloud operations at Exabeam and directed the SRE organization for American Express's hybrid cloud platform, focusing on automation and high availability. With extensive experience in engineering and product management across various companies, including PlanGrid and Walmart Labs, Patanwala has a proven track record in building resilient cloud infrastructures and fostering a DevOps culture. In addition, Patanwala has provided advisory services to startups and has held technical leadership roles at Upwork, Antarctica Infosys, Unicorn Tech, and Carrier Corporation. Patanwala holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
