Erik Diehl

Erik Diehl is a seasoned finance professional specializing in renewable energy and project finance. Currently serving as Portfolio Manager for Global Renewable Energy at Bank of America since July 2024, Erik focuses on tax equity and debt financing. Prior to this role, Erik was Vice President of Project Finance & Infrastructure at East West Bank, where responsibilities included underwriting and portfolio management in energy, power, and infrastructure sectors. Earlier experience includes Assistant Vice President at Morningstar, leading credit ratings for various project finance structures, and a rating analyst position at Fitch Ratings within the Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group. Erik began a career in finance as an analyst in the Corporate and Investment Banking Group at Citi, focusing on project finance in the oil, gas, and infrastructure sectors. Erik holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Alfred University.
