Jeff Busconi is head of Corporate Strategy and Operational Excellence for Bank of America and is a member of the company’s executive management team. In this role, he works across the company’s leadership and with the Board of Directors to develop, implement, and monitor business strategy across the company. Jeff also oversees all merger, acquisition, and divestiture activities for the bank, as well as the company’s Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) program.
Busconi also serves as the company’s AI catalyst, with overall responsibility for accelerating efforts to drive innovation, usage, and value of AI across the company, building on a decade of AI development, deployment, and leadership that has included Erica®, CashPro®, and other tools that enhance client experience, improve operational efficiency, and deliver increased returns. In addition, Busconi leads the company’s enterprise-wide work to drive Operational Excellence, identifying ways to continuously improve to drive better management of operational risk, stronger financial performance, and improved client and employee experience.
Busconi has more than 25 years of experience across corporate strategy, asset management, investment banking and wealth management. Formerly, he served as Head of Wealth Management Strategy, Products and Services for Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank, and as COO for The Private Bank. Previously he held senior roles at other investment firms, before joining the company in 2016.
Busconi serves as President of the Board of Trustees of The Green Vale School. He is a past recipient of Bowdoin’s Young Alumni Leadership Award, where he previously served as an Alumni Fund Director.
