Mayur Thakur

Mayur Thakur is an accomplished technology and data leader with extensive experience in various high-profile roles. Currently serving as Managing Director at Bank of America since November 2023, Mayur previously held the position of Chief Data Officer at H1 from 2021 to 2023, where emphasis was placed on healthcare data and analytics for pharmaceutical and digital health companies. Prior to H1, Mayur was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs from 2014 to 2021, spearheading a comprehensive data and analytics platform for regulatory and reputational risk management. Mayur's career began at Google, Inc. as a Technology Leader from 2007 to 2014, contributing to the unification of Google's search capabilities and securing over 20 patents. Prior academic roles include serving as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Missouri--Rolla from 2004 to 2007, focusing on algorithms and complexity theory. Mayur holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Rochester and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
