Melinda Herndon

Melinda Herndon is an experienced senior leader in operations performance and fraud strategy, with a proven track record at Bank of America from June 2022 to April 2025. In the roles of Senior Vice President for both Operations Performance Manager II and Fraud Strategy Governance Oversight Manager, Melinda ensured compliance and risk mitigation within the Credit Risk Management Framework while enhancing business controls to prevent fraudulent activities. Prior to this, Melinda served as Vice President and Business Control Manager, leading digital transformation initiatives in the Client Protection organization. Earlier experience includes a role as Team Lead at OneWest Bank, managing a large portfolio of home loans and successfully executing projects efficiently, and as an Underwriter at Farmers Insurance Group, achieving perfect audit evaluations. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by formative studies at Abilene Christian University.
