Venu Thamodharan is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and software development within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Director and Tech Head of Global Payments Solutions Reporting Data/BI, Data Science & AI Analytics at Bank of America, Venu oversees AI development projects while applying advanced machine learning algorithms for risk management and data quality controls. Venu's previous roles include significant positions at Citi, TIAA-CREF, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Wells Fargo, encompassing responsibilities in system architecture, project management, and technical leadership across various financial platforms. Venu is also an educator, teaching fintech and data analytics courses at institutions such as the University of North Carolina Charlotte. Venu holds an MBA in Information Technology Management and is pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence.
