Lisa Mason

Lisa Mason has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Lisa began their career in 1988 at United Bank & Trust, where they started as a Financial Accounting Clerk. In this role, they assisted with financial reporting, balanced bank accounts, and handled shareholder accounting. Lisa then advanced to positions such as Assistant Auditor, Audit Officer, and Assistant Vice President - Audit. In these roles, Lisa reported directly to the Board of Directors and its Audit Committee, prepared and presented reports, and developed a risk-based audit plan. Lisa worked at United Bank & Trust until 2014.

In 2014, Lisa joined Bank of Ann Arbor as a Vice President & Auditor. Lisa recently became a Senior Vice President & Auditor and continues to hold this position.

Lisa Mason earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Siena Heights University between 1990 and 1994. Lisa then attended the Robert M. Perry School of Banking, where they completed the Audit School program in 1996 and the Intermediate Audit School program in 2000. Later, in 2004, Lisa attended Cannon Financial Institute and completed the Internal Audit Certificate program, which lasted for three years. Lisa obtained the Certified Financial Services Auditor certification in 2006 from The Institute for Internal Auditors and the Certified Internal Controls Auditor certification in 2014 from The Institute for Internal Controls.
