Paul Abert

Paul Abert currently serves as the Market President for Madison County at the Bank of Belleville, a position held since June 2020. Abert has extensive experience in banking and finance, having previously held roles such as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking and Executive Vice President & Community Bank President at Town and Country Bank. Additional experience includes a tenure as Vice President of Commercial Lending at First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust and Vice President of Commercial Banking at TheBANK of Edwardsville. Abert has been involved in the USTA Pro Circuit Edwardsville Men's $10K Tournament as Treasurer since 2012 and has contributed to the SIUE School of Pharmacy as an Advisory Board Member since 2008. Abert also served on the board of the Edwardsville Arts Center and led the Goshen Rotary Club as President from 2010 to 2011. Abert holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
