Anita Lee

Anita Lee is a seasoned professional in compliance and policy development, currently serving as Principal Supervisor for Enforcement in Retail Payments Supervision at the Bank of Canada since October 2021. Prior to this role, Anita worked as a Senior Compliance Officer at FINTRAC Canada from January 2021 to October 2021 and served as a Senior Policy Advisor for the Economic Security Task Force at Public Safety Canada in 2019, where policies addressing national security issues were developed in collaboration with over 15 government departments and agencies. Anita's extensive experience at FINTRAC Canada also includes a long tenure as a Senior Compliance Officer focused on enforcement and harm assessment, as well as leadership roles as Team Leader and Senior Analyst in Financial Intelligence Analysis. Educational qualifications include degrees from the University of Waterloo and Carleton University.
