Masoud Nasari

Masoud Nasari is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as Assistant Director of Data Science at the Bank of Canada since May 2022, Masoud previously held roles as a Senior Data Scientist-Research at the same institution. Concurrently, Masoud has been an Adjunct Research Professor and Research Associate at Carleton University since July 2011. Prior experiences include Data Scientist at Canadian Blood Services from January 2020 to May 2022, Methodologist at Statistics Canada from July 2017 to November 2019, and NSERC Visiting Fellow at Health Canada from August 2014 to July 2016. Masoud holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Statistics from Carleton University, obtained in 2010.
