Hugo Lai

Hugo Lai is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in digital sales and acquisition, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Digital Sales & Martech at Bank of China (Hong Kong) since May 2023. Prior to this role, Hugo held various positions at Citigroup from September 2018 to April 2023, culminating in the role of Vice President - Digital Acquisition, where responsibilities included leading campaigns to drive digital sales and collaborating with regional teams. Additionally, Hugo gained valuable experience at American Express and SmarTone, managing digital marketing strategies and campaigns, and also worked in account management and project execution at OTM and SurfGold, respectively. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Macquarie University, obtained between 2004 and 2006.
