Rex Wong

Rex Wong is an accomplished professional in the financial services industry with extensive experience in custody and trust services. Currently serving as the Assistant General Manager and Head of Product, Network and Operation at Bank of China (Hong Kong) since November 2023, Rex has held significant roles at HSBC as the Head of Global Custody and Treasury, Service Delivery for Asia Pacific from January 2015 to September 2023. Prior to that, Rex held multiple managing director positions at BNY Mellon, overseeing product management and business development for the Asia Pacific and Greater China regions between June 2008 and January 2015. Rex's career began at State Street Bank, where 14 years were spent as Regional Head of Fund Operation for Asia ex Japan. Rex holds a degree from Macquarie University.
