Ying Yao Hong

Ying Yao Hong has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and risk management. Ying Yao currently works as a Vice President at Bank of China, where they lead a team in AML, Sanction and Regulatory Compliance. Prior to this, they were a Vice President at CIMB Singapore, where they were responsible for governance and regulatory liaison. Ying Yao also worked as a Vice President at HSBC, overseeing regulatory affairs, policy, and conduct. Ying Yao Hong has prior experience at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where they served as an Assistant Director, and at OCBC Bank, Republic Polytechnic, United Microelectronics Corporation, and TECH Semiconductor Singapore Pte Ltd in various roles.

Ying Yao Hong completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) between 1998 and 2002. In 2008 and 2009, Ying pursued an MSc in Applied Finance from the Singapore Management University (SMU).
