Martin Villalon

Martin Villalon serves as the Head of Investment Banking at Bank of Commerce in the Philippines since March 2022. With extensive experience in investment banking and capital markets, Martin previously held leadership positions at First Metro Investment Corporation, where responsibilities included client coverage and origination as well as acting as Deputy Head of Equity Capital Markets. Prior roles include directorship at Security Bank Corporation, Vice President at HSBC Securities (USA), Inc., and Assistant Vice President at Citigroup. Martin's early career includes a role as an Associate at Houlihan Lokey and a Technical Assistant IV at the Board of Investments - DTI. Martin holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and has completed additional education at the Asian Institute of Management and Ateneo Graduate School of Business, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University.
