Danae Kyriakopoulou currently holds the position of C-Head of the Climate Hub at the Bank of England since July 2023 and serves as a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum. Previously, Danae was a Distinguished Policy Fellow and Senior Policy Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from September 2021 to July 2023. Danae has extensive experience in climate and economic policy, having served as Chief Economist & Director of Research, Chair of the Sustainable Policy Institute, and Advisory Council Member at OMFIF from September 2016 to July 2023. Additional roles include Climate Adviser at NatWest Group and Managing Economist and Senior Economist at the Centre for Economics and Business Research.
