Matt Jones possesses extensive experience in international policy and strategy within the financial sector, currently serving at the Bank of England since June 2012. Notable roles include jointly leading the Bank's Hub for the UK's G7 Presidency finance track and currently heading the EU Strategy & Engagement team. Previous positions include serving as International Policy Advisor to a Global Standard Setting Body, Private Secretary for the Director of Supervisory Risk Specialists, and various public affairs roles at Citizens Advice and the NHS Confederation. Matt Jones holds an MSc in Public Policy & Management from Birkbeck, University of London, as well as postgraduate and undergraduate degrees from Cardiff University in Public and Media Relations and Politics, respectively.
