Nathan Monk

Nathan Monk currently serves as the CIO and Executive Director of Technology at the Bank of England, overseeing the technology aspects of the RTGS renewal programme since September 2018. Previously, Nathan held the position of Director of IT at Travis Perkins plc, managing various digital departments and implementing key digital programmes with foundational SaaS platforms. Between 2007 and 2016, Nathan worked at Vodafone in multiple roles, including Programme Director responsible for an £80m Order to Cash transformation, and Head of Application Delivery for Enterprise BSS applications. Nathan's earlier career includes roles at Hutchison3G as Governance and Change Manager and at Fujitsu Services as a Business Analyst. Academic credentials include a BSc Hons in Information Systems Management from Bournemouth University.
