Paul Spence

Paul Spence is a Graduate Analyst at the Bank of England, specializing in Supervisory Risk. Prior to this role, Paul worked as an Economist for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, where responsibilities included analyzing UK nuclear policy and conducting comparative analyses of gas demand. Previous experience includes serving as a Finance Associate for the Foreign Policy and Security Conference, a Research Assistant at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for International Futures, and conducting research on youth climate movements at La Fabrique Ecologique. Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy from King's College London and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Statistics and a Graduate Diploma in Mathematics at Birkbeck, University of London. Early education includes the European Baccalaureate from the European School of Brussels I.
