David Maguire

David Maguire is an experienced finance professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Head of Construction and Development Finance in Business Banking at Bank of Ireland since 2004, David has also held key leadership roles within Bank of Ireland Private Banking, including Head of Lending and Head of Business Development. Prior to this, David worked as Associate Director, managing high-profile transactions and facilitating customer engagement during periods of organizational change. David's earlier experience includes serving as Business Development Manager at EBS Limited, where large ticket commercial transactions were executed for key clients, and as Group Accountant & Financial Controller at Hardwicke Group, overseeing a diverse portfolio during the development of the IFSC in Dublin. David holds the QFA designation from the Institute of Bankers/UCD and has educational credentials from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the College of Commerce, Rathmines.
