Shane Jordan

Shane Jordan is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in model validation. Currently serving as Head of Model Validation at Bank of Ireland since May 2019, Shane leads a team that conducts comprehensive validation reviews across the Group's model suite, including various capital and risk models, while also presenting reports to governance and engaging with stakeholders during audits and regulatory inspections. Prior to this role, Shane held key positions at permanent tsb, including Senior Manager of Model Validation, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of analysts and reviewing credit risk models under Basel II frameworks. Shane's career began as a Trainee Actuary at Friends First, supported by a BSc in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from Dublin City University.
