Michael Gurkov

Michael Gurkov is a Data Scientist and Researcher at the Bank of Israel since December 2017, with extensive experience in academia as a Lecturer at the College of Management Academic Studies and the Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo since 2008. Previous roles include Senior Business Analyst at Modelity Technologies and Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University. Michael participated in the Milken Institute Fellows Program as a Research Fellow, conducting quantitative economic research and completing internships at the Israel Securities Authority and the Bank of Israel's economic research department. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Financial Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from The Academic College of Tel Aviv Yaffo.
