Joseph Kazuungo S. Gondwe

Mr. Joseph KAZUUNGO S. GONDWE joins Bank of Kigali Plc as a Chief People & Culture Officer reporting to the CEO and the board. He has 17 years + of work experience in Finance, Banking, Telecom and Technology sectors where he has gained knowledge and skills across all Business Operations.

Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical/ Industrial Psychology from the University of Zambia, an MSC/ MBA from Heriot-Watt University's Edinburgh Scotland, a Mini MBA Telecom – Gordon Institute of Business and is a graduate from F.L.I.G.H.T School- Gordon Institute of Business/ University of Pretoria.

With his experience from Barclays/Absa, MTN, Vodafone, Liquid Intelligent Technologies mainly at an Executive level in Zambia, Mozambique and South Africa while looking after different markets in Africa.

Joseph brings on-board extensive experience and knowledge on Best and Next practice ranging from driving Organization Performance, Commercial Oriented Culture Operating System, Talent, Learning and Innovation Management.

Regarding his hobbies, Joseph enjoys playing football, fruit/vegetable farming, landscaping and has fascination on design construction and for Aerodynamics.
