Randy Browning

Randy Browning, CTP, MBA has an extensive work experience in the field of treasury management and banking. Randy is currently the Treasury Management Division Manager - SVP at Bank of Marin since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Product Management & Treasury Management Services - SVP at Cathay Bank from 2019 to 2023. At Cathay Bank, they were responsible for creating and driving a robust deposit and treasury management strategy for the entire bank.

Before joining Cathay Bank, Randy worked at Union Bank from 2009 to 2018, holding various roles such as Sales & Strategy Manager and Not-for-Profit Vertical Manager in the Transaction Banking division. Randy also served as a Technical Treasury Management Sales Manager during their tenure at Union Bank.

Earlier in their career, Randy worked at Washington Mutual / JP Morgan Chase as the Head of Treasury Management Sales, Implementation & Servicing in the Business Banking division.

Randy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in treasury management and has played integral roles in developing and implementing strategies for various financial institutions.

Randy Browning, CTP, MBA, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Randy also pursued further education at the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance. In addition, Randy Browning has obtained the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification from the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) in 2006. Randy also attended the Pacific Coast Banking School for a graduate program in Banking.
