Lena Milne

Lena Milne has a diverse background in talent acquisition and recruitment. Lena began their career at Hays as a Recruitment Consultant, where they specialized in permanent and temporary recruitment within the Office Support division. Lena then joined Halo Consulting as an Associate Recruitment Consultant, focusing on digital and technology recruitment and hard-to-fill positions.

In 2017, Lena joined the Bank of New Zealand (BNZ), starting as a Sourcing Consultant, where they were responsible for developing and implementing sourcing plans and creating talent pipelines for critical positions. Lena later became the Employment Brand & Sourcing Strategy Manager, where they worked closely with the Talent Acquisition team to develop and execute the employer brand and sourcing strategy.

Lena's next role at BNZ was as a Talent Acquisition Partner, where they delivered end-to-end recruitment for high impact roles across various departments. Currently, they hold the position of Talent Acquisition Lead at BNZ, centralizing and establishing the end-to-end process for contingent hiring.

Throughout their career, Lena has demonstrated expertise in partnering with the business to understand hiring requirements, developing sourcing strategies, and delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes.

Lena Milne attended Massey University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Studies degree focused on Human Resource Management. As for additional certifications, Lena obtained a First Aid Certificate from St John New Zealand and also holds National Certificates in Hospitality and Hospitality Operations from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
