Simon Kwan

Simon Kwan joined BNZ as Executive, Operational Excellence, in January 2022, bringing with him significant experience in the financial services industry.

Simon is a returning Kiwi who grew up in Auckland. He comes to us from Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he has been General Manager, Home Buying Process and Operations for the past five years. Prior to that Simon has had a range of operational and delivery focused roles including being Executive Manager Group Operations at Westpac Australia. He has also held senior roles at Westpac New Zealand.

Simon’s extensive experience delivering innovation, world-class operations and process improvement for customers and colleagues means he is well placed to lead BNZ’s new Operational Excellence business unit and to help deliver the BNZ strategy.
