Steve Guy has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Steve started their career as a Private Banker at Wachovia and then served as a City Executive/Vice President at First National Bank and Trust Company. Following that, they owned and managed Carolina Fairways, LLC dba Asheboro Country Club. Steve then worked as a Vice President at SunTrust Bank and High Point Bank. Steve joined First Bank as a City Executive and later became a Senior Vice President/Senior Commercial Relationship Manager at Bank of Oak Ridge. Overall, their roles have focused on people management, business development, and meeting the commercial banking needs of clients.
Steve Guy attended Leadership High Point in 2006, but did not receive a degree or study a specific field. At an unknown time, they attended Wingate University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. Additionally, in 1998, Steve Guy completed the Advanced Management Program at the North Carolina School of Banking, specializing in the field of study called NCBA.
