Martin E. Grunst

Marty Grunst is executive vice president and chief risk officer for BOK Financial Corporation. As chief risk officer, Grunst is responsible for enterprise-wide risk management and ensuring the company’s compliance with government regulations.

With more than 30 years of experience, Grunst most recently served as treasurer of BOK Financial for the past seven years.

He began his career at Busey Bank, an Illinois-based community bank working in a number of roles including loan operations, mortgage secondary marketing and asset liability management. He then went to Bank One (now JP Morgan Chase) in Columbus, Ohio, where he worked in treasury, corporate finance and line of business finance roles, including asset liability manager for Banc One Ohio Corporation, manager of acquisition planning for the credit card line of business, finance manager for commercial real estate lending, asset liability manager for the retail line of business and finance manager for consumer lending.

Before joining BOK Financial as treasurer in 2009, he served as treasurer for Citizens Bank and Citizens Republic Bancorp in Michigan for six years, where he had the additional responsibility of managing corporate finance.

He previously served on the Jenks Public School Foundation board for six years.
