Georgia Guiang

Georgia Guiang has a diverse work experience in various financial institutions. Georgia began their career in 1994 as an Equity Investment Analyst at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and later joined Societe Generale in the same role. In 1999, they became a Senior Consultant & Project Manager at Soluziona / Union Fenosa ACEX, where they were involved in market research, marketing, and business development. Georgia then served as the Country Manager in Indonesia, where they established the subsidiary office and secured significant projects and investments for the company. From 2002 to 2003, Georgia worked as a Freelance Management Consultant before joining Asset Publishing & Research as a Director from 2003 to 2008. Georgia joined CLSA in 2010 as an Equity Sales member and worked there until 2011. In 2012, Georgia joined the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) as an Associate Director, where they served as the Head of Institutional Sales for Securities Distribution until 2014. Georgia then became the AVP - Global Market Sales until 2022 when they were promoted to Head of Business Development. Additionally, Georgia held roles at BPI Securities Corporation as the Head of the Institutional Segment from 2018 and at BPI Capital as the Head of Syndicate & Marketing, Investment Banking from 2017. Furthermore, they worked as a Syndicate, Investment Banking member at BPI Capital Corporation from 2015. From 1998 to 1999, Georgia Guiang completed a Master of Science degree in Finance at the University of the Philippines.
