Steven Sy Lim

Steven Sy Lim has a diverse work experience primarily in the banking industry. Steven Sy started their career as a Management Trainee at Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) in 2004. Steven Sy then joined BPI FAMILY SAVINGS BANK, INC. in 2005 and held various roles, including Head of Sales Support Department.

In 2007, Steven joined De La Salle University as a Faculty in the RVR-COB Financial Management Department. Steven Sy also served as the Graduate Program Coordinator for the department in 2013.

Returning to BPI in 2011, Steven took on different roles within the company, such as Head of Risk Models Validation Division and Head of Metro Manila Corporate Credit Division. Steven Sy eventually became the Head of Credit Policy & Risk Management Division at BPI.

In 2023, Steven will become a Member of the Board of Advisors at De La Salle University.

Steven Sy Lim completed their education at De La Salle University, where they received an AB in Political Science and BSC in Management of Financial Institutions in 2004. Steven Sy then pursued a Master of Science in Financial Engineering, which is anticipated to be completed in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Steven Sy Lim has obtained various certifications, including the Strategic CFO Leadership Development Program, World Business Council for Sustainable Development Leadership Program, BPI Executive Coaching Program, Commercial Credit Certification Program, BPI-Harvard Leadership Excellence Acceleration Program, Career Service Professional, Certified Treasury Professional, and Certified Financial Consultant (Associate).
