Joseph Nyanzi Ssentamu

Joseph Nyanzi Ssentamu is an experienced professional with a strong background in data management and financial analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Domestic Situation Analysis and Macroprudential Data Management at the Bank of Uganda since July 2016, Joseph has successfully developed a comprehensive data improvement strategy that significantly enhanced macrofinancial reporting accuracy and efficiency. Joseph also co-led an IMF technical assistance mission focused on Financial Soundness Indicators. Prior to this role, Joseph was an Accounts & Data Management Officer at Mengo Hospital, where financial processes and patient data management were streamlined through effective data analysis. Joseph holds a Master of Science in Mathematics from Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology, alongside bachelor's and master's degrees in Statistics and Business Administration specializing in Finance, respectively. Additional qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance from Uganda Management Institute.
