Melissa Smyly

Melissa Smyly has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Melissa'scareer started in 1991 at Bank of Walterboro, where they served as AVP & Operations Officer. Melissa then joined Bank of the Lowcountry, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility, including AVP/ISO/Operations Officer, AVP/ISO/Controller, VP/ISO/Controller, and currently, SVP/ISO/Controller. Melissa'sroles at Bank of the Lowcountry began in 1991 and continue to the present.

Melissa Smyly completed their high school education at Ruffin High School. Melissa then obtained an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College. Most recently, they achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Business with an Accounting focus from Southern New Hampshire University.
