Michael Moran

Michael Moran is an accomplished financial and legal executive with extensive experience in commercial real estate and structured finance. Currently serving as Executive Managing Director - Originations at Bank OZK since May 2018, Michael has held various leadership roles at ORIX USA Corporation from 2005 to 2017, including Managing Director, General Counsel, and CEO of subsidiary Red Capital Group. Notable achievements include co-leading the ORIX USA Strategy and Values Committees, overseeing legal matters related to significant investment portfolios, and directing strategic initiatives across multiple business platforms. Michael began his career at Rudnick & Wolfe, focusing on real estate and corporate finance, after earning a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois.
