Tomasz Kowalski

Tomasz Kowalski's work experience includes being the Head of Strategic Research at Bank Pekao since 2018. Previously, they worked at KBC Asset Management (KBC TFI S.A.) where they held various roles such as Portfolio Manager, Head of Research, and Analyst from 2007-2018. Before that, they were an Analyst in the Strategy Department and a Management Associate at Citi (Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A.) from 2002-2007. Tomasz also had a trainee position at Deloitte&Touche in 2002 and at Deutsche Bank Belgium NV/SA in the Fund Research Department in 2001.

Tomasz Kowalski earned a Master's degree in Banking and Finance (MBF) from Ghent University in 2002. Tomasz then went on to obtain another Master's degree in Management and Marketing from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Katowicach between 1996 and 2001. Later, in 2013, they completed their PhD in Economic Analysis at SGH Warsaw School of Economics. Additionally, they also received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in June 2013.
