Heather Coulter has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Licensing Intern at the University of Iowa. Heather then worked as a Bank Teller at Farmers and Merchants Saving Bank from May 2011 to June 2012. In 2012, they joined McGladrey as a Risk Advisory Consultant, Senior Associate, where they worked until October 2015. Since October 2015, Heather has been with Bankers Trust, initially as an Internal Audit Officer until February 2018, then as an AVP, Enterprise Risk Officer, and currently as a VP, Risk and Financial Intelligence Manager.
Heather Coulter completed their undergraduate education from 2008 to 2012 at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, where they earned a degree in Finance, Risk Management & Insurance. Following their undergraduate studies, Heather obtained several additional certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In July 2014, they earned the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Heather further pursued their professional development and obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the same institution in April 2015. Recently, in July 2019, they obtained the Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP) certification from the American Bankers Association. These certifications contribute to Heather Coulter's expertise in risk management and internal auditing.
