Josephat Gathua is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Systems Security Engineer III at Bankers Trust since November 2022, Josephat Gathua previously held the position of Security Analyst at Coviance from January 2022 to November 2022. Prior to this, Josephat Gathua worked at Hagie Manufacturing in various roles including IT Systems Analyst and Integrator, Computer Systems Analyst, and Information Technology Operations Technician from March 2013 to January 2022. Josephat Gathua began a career in IT at The University of Iowa as an IT Support Consultant from August 2009 to February 2013. Josephat Gathua holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Iowa, completed in 2012.
