Troy Thompson has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Troy started their career as a Bank Examiner at the Iowa Division of Banking in 1997 and worked there until 1999. Troy then joined Iowa State Bank & Trust Company as an AVP - Credit Management, where they worked until 2005. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Heartland Financial USA, Inc. as a VP - Credit Administration Officer. Currently, they are employed at Bankers Trust as the SVP - Chief Credit Officer since 2009.
Troy Thompson completed their Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Finance & Economics at Morningside University, from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Humboldt High School up until 1992. Later, they also attended the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, specializing in the field of Banking, from 2003 to 2005.
