Rachel Steiner's work experience begins in 2001 at JPMorgan Chase (formerly Bank One, N.A./American National Bank and Trust Co), where they served as a Commercial Banking Officer, specializing in bank holding companies and shareholders. Rachel managed loan commitments, structured and negotiated loan transactions, and participated in a commercial banking development program.
In 2004, Rachel joined JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Private Banker, managing a portfolio of asset-backed conduit transactions. Rachel also participated in JPMorgan's Corporate Finance Investment Banking Program.
Starting in 2007, Rachel worked at Protiviti as a Senior Consultant, focusing on credit-related issues in the financial services industry. Rachel conducted due diligence reviews on securitization facilities and provided direct supervision to consultants.
From 2008 to 2012, Rachel worked at McGladrey as a Manager in Risk Advisory Services. Rachel specialized in risk management consulting for financial institutions, with a focus on loan review, due diligence, credit process assessments, and internal audit. Additionally, they developed and executed training on banking topics.
In 2012, Rachel joined HTLF, a multi-bank charter bank holding company, as a Senior Vice President. Their roles at HTLF included Credit Administration Officer and Director of Loan Review and Credit Risk Monitoring. Rachel managed the operation of a fully in-house loan review department and oversaw the asset quality due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions.
Most recently, Rachel joined Old Second National Bank in 2022 as the SVP, Deputy Chief Credit Officer.
Rachel Steiner attended Miami University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and marketing.
