Al Muqdad Mohamed al Lawati

Al Muqdad Mohamed Al Lawati has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles across different organizations. Al Muqdad Mohamed is currently working as VP & Head of HR at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) since September 2022. Prior to this, they held multiple leadership positions at Sohar International, including VP & Head of Organization Development & HR Analytics, VP & Head of Talent Development, VP & Head of Total Rewards, and VP & Head of Organizational Development. Al Muqdad also worked as a Faculty member at WorldatWork from July 2019 to April 2021.

In their earlier career, they served as an Executive Manager - HR Transformation at BankDhofar from August 2017 to January 2019. Before that, Al Muqdad worked at Petroleum Development Oman as a Job Evaluation & Remuneration Analyst from June 2011 to July 2017. Al Muqdad Mohamed started their career as an HR Generalist MENA at Weatherford in August 2008 and later became an HR Associate at Halliburton from February 2007 to July 2008. Al Muqdad holds an MBA and is also certified as a Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®) and a Certified Kaizen Facilitator (CKF).

Al Muqdad Mohamed Al Lawati holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Project Management from Colorado Technical University, which they earned between 2005 and 2006. Al Muqdad Mohamed also obtained a Bachelors of Arts & Science degree in Economics from the University of Colorado Denver, completing it from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Al Muqdad has acquired several certifications throughout their career, including Hogan Certified from Phoenix Consulting International in 2022, Certified Kaizen Facilitator (CKF) from the Management & Strategy Institute in 2018, Lean Practitioner from Petroleum Development Oman in 2017, Global Remuneration Professional (GRP®) from WorldatWork in 2014, and OPAL HR Practitioner from the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) in 2007.
