Neel K.

Neel K. has extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Neel currently serves as the Managing Director & Head of Business Management, Strategy & Governance in the International Banking Group at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). Prior to this, Neel held the position of Head of Finance, Planning and Performance and Partnering at Commercial Bank of Dubai. In this role, they provided strategic advice and support to the Senior Management team, led finance discussions, and drove performance improvement. Neel also worked at Westpac, where they held various positions including Senior Manager, Business Performance Management & Strategy, and Consultant (Secondee from Westpac to NDB) at the New Development Bank (NDB). In these roles, they provided strategic insights, developed financial plans, and set up core finance functions and systems. Neel began their career as an Assistant Accountant at Probe Group.

Neel K. earned a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, Neel K. obtained a Masters in Practising Accounting from Monash University from 2005 to 2007. Neel K.'s earliest education was a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fergusson College, completed from 2002 to 2005. In addition to these degrees, Neel K. has obtained various certifications, including a Chartered Accountant certification from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
