Danny Piangerelli

Danny Piangerelli has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Danny is currently the CTO at BankiFi, where they oversee the engineering and infrastructure teams and drives the company's technological advancements. In their role as Chief Architect, they provide the technical vision and roadmap for the organization, focusing on developing a comprehensive digital banking application suite, API platform, and data and analytics platform.

Prior to BankiFi, Danny served as a Board Advisor at ZSuite Technologies, where they offered guidance and expertise in strategic decision-making.

From 2020 to 2022, Danny worked as the CTO at Sensibill, a Q2 Company, where they were responsible for product and engineering strategy. Danny played a crucial role in driving innovation and user engagement across mobile and web channels, as well as expanding and leading the Sensibill Data Platform.

Before Sensibill, Danny was associated with Malauzai, a Finastra Company, from 2010 to 2020. Danny initially served as the Chief Enterprise Architect for North American Community Markets and later became the Co-Founder and CTO. In this role, they provided technology leadership and direction, managed engineering and design teams, and represented Malauzai in customer and prospect opportunities.

Danny's earlier experience includes working at Dell Technologies from 2006 to 2010, serving as a Global Application Architect responsible for data strategy and UI frameworks. Danny also held the position of Team Lead at Dell Technologies from 2006 to 2008. Prior to Dell, they worked at S1 Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from 2001 to 2006, and at Answer Financial as a Web Developer from 2000 to 2001.

Danny began their career as a Network Administrator at LA Weekly from 1997 to 1999. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in various roles, demonstrating their expertise in technology leadership, architecture, engineering, and product strategy.

Danny Piangerelli earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Azusa Pacific University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995.
