John Turek

John Turek is a Cyber Security Analyst at the Banking and Financial Services Union (BFSU) since June 2022, with prior experience as a Digital Forensics and Information Technology Consultant from May 2018 to June 2022, focusing on digital forensic investigations and incident response for network breaches. Turek served as a Digital Forensic Analyst at a Law Enforcement Agency from June 2001 to May 2018, where responsibilities included investigating computer-related crimes within the Major Crimes Bureau's Economic Crimes Unit. Earlier, Turek worked as a Machinery Technician in the U.S. Coast Guard from March 1997 to March 2001. Turek holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT Technical Institute-Youngstown, obtained between 1992 and 1994.
