Dr. Warren Nelson

Dr. Warren Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Dr. Warren currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at BM Technologies, Inc. (BMTX). Prior to this, they worked at Finastra as the Senior Director of Cloud Architecture, Engineering, and Delivery. In this role, Dr. Nelson led a team responsible for the architecture, engineering, and delivery of Finastra's cloud consumption, including Azure and AWS. Before Finastra, they held various leadership positions at D+H, Fiserv, Open Solutions, the U.S. Coast Guard, West Des Moines WestCOMM, and the Clive Police Department. Dr. Nelson's roles in these organizations included responsibilities in IT engineering and architecture, network architecture, technology operations, system administration, and dispatching.

Dr. Warren Nelson has a strong educational background. Dr. Warren completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Leadership at Stockton University between 2016 and 2019. Prior to this, they obtained their Masters degree in Computational Science from the same university from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Nelson also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Information, which they earned from Stockton University between 2004 and 2010.
