Sjúrður Thorsteinsson

Sjúrður Thorsteinsson has over a decade of experience in the field of analytics and economics. Currently serving as the Head of Analytics and previously as a Quantitative Analyst at BankNordik since November 2014, Sjúrður specializes in credit risk modeling and has contributed to models used for IFRS9, along with expertise in Business Intelligence (BI), ETL, and various analyses. Prior to this role, Sjúrður worked as an Economist at Danmarks Statistik from May 2013 to October 2014, focusing on National Accounts. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Economics and Management obtained from Aarhus University (2010-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management from the same institution (2007-2010).
