Kirtan Desai

Kirtan Desai has extensive work experience spanning over two decades in various companies. Kirtan is currently a Partner at Resivation Hotel since January 2020. Before that, they served as the Managing Director at Innovations Group UAE starting in November 2019. In 2017, they co-founded BankOnUs. Prior to that, Kirtan was the Managing Director of Capstone Insurance, a growing insurance broker in the UAE, where they provided insurance solutions to individuals and corporations.

Kirtan's earlier career includes roles at Citi as the Director, Head of Cards Portfolio for the Middle East & North Africa from May 2012 to April 2013, and as the Senior Vice President & Business Head, Consumer Loans & Sales Director, Retail Assets from August 2004 to April 2012. Kirtan also held the position of Vice President, Credit Cards at ABN Amro Bank from August 2002 to August 2004.

Prior to that, Kirtan worked at ICICI Bank Ltd as the National Sales Manager for Credit Cards from July 2001 to July 2003. Kirtan started their career at Citicorp Maruti Finance Limited as a Relationship Manager from 1997 to 1999. Overall, Kirtan Desai has a diverse background in finance, insurance, and hospitality, with a focus on leadership and business development roles.

Kirtan Desai completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Symbiosis International University between 1993 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Sc in Microbiology from Gujarat University, completing their degree between 1989 and 1991.
