Khalid Alali is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with a strong background in project management. Currently serving as Deputy Site Manager and Project Engineer at Banks Group since November 2021, Khalid has previously worked as a Graduate Engineer at Alan Wood & Partners and as a Project Engineer at Bundanoon Sandstone Quarries. Khalid began a career in engineering after a notable tenure as a Graduate Civil Engineer at TROY STRATTI in Pyrmont and an internship in Corporate Banking at the Royal Bank of Scotland, which recognized exceptional character and perseverance. Khalid's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from The University of Sheffield and the University of Wollongong, a Foundation degree from The University of Sheffield, and a Btec National Diploma in Sport from York College, along with early education at Conyers Secondary School. Additionally, Khalid's early career included a two-year football apprenticeship with York City Football Club.
