Manuela Romeo

Manuela Romeo is an experienced climate and waste management professional currently serving as Climate Programme Officer at the London Borough of Hackney since October 2018, leading the delivery of the Climate Action Plan and Council Climate Implementation Plan. Previous roles include Circular Economy Projects Officer and Waste Prevention Officer at Hackney, as well as Senior Waste Prevention Officer at North London Waste Authority, where expertise in project management, community engagement, and data analysis was developed. Additional experience includes various roles focusing on waste prevention and recycling, alongside educational qualifications in environmental management and geology.
