Rashaad Shamsoodeen

Rashaad Shamsoodeen is an accomplished professional in the field of internal audit and business consulting, currently serving as Head of Internal Audit at The BANKSETA since June 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Manager at Entsika Consulting and SekelaXabiso, where Rashaad specialized in internal audit projects and client management. Previous roles also include Assistant Manager at GFIA, overseeing a portfolio of internal audit clients, and Audit Manager at OMA Chartered Accountants, where Rashaad represented internal audit at management and audit committee meetings. Rashaad holds a Master of Business Leadership from Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership, alongside certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting from the University of Pretoria.
