Dawn Taylor is an experienced credit and banking professional currently serving as Chief Credit Officer at BankSouth since February 2024. Prior to this role, Dawn held the same title at First Volunteer Bank from August 2021 to February 2024. Dawn's extensive career includes significant positions such as EVP and Credit Services Director at Bank OZK, where leadership of a 84-member credit administration team led to enhanced compliance and increased loan volume. With a strong background in commercial banking and acquisitions, Dawn has also served as City President for Regions Bank and held various roles focused on mergers and acquisitions at Filterfresh Coffee Service and Five Star Coffee Service. Education includes a BBA in Accounting from Georgia State University and an ABA in Accounting from Young Harris College.
