Dustin Thompson has diverse work experience in the financial industry and public administration. Dustin started their career in 2010 as an Assistant Financial Examiner at the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance. In 2013, they joined BankSouth as a VP, Credit Risk Officer. Additionally, in 2017, they took on a role as a Member of the Board of Elections and Registration at Newton County.
Dustin Thompson completed their Bachelor's of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on Small Business/Entrepreneurship from Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University, where they studied Business Administration and Management from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they attended the Georgia Bankers Association-Georgia Banking School from 2013 to 2015, specializing in Banking and Financial Support Services.
